cheap & useful book bundles!!

plaidos:

hey, in case you hadn’t heard, Humble Bundle has some really fantastic pay-what-you-want book & software bundles on right now!!

Keep Books Weird – a bizarre collection of around thirty books all about different things (like a book about lockpicking, a book about how fucked up the CIA actually is, a book examining juggalo culture, bizarrely) but with an emphasis on mental-health self help, like “Unfuck Your Brain” and “This is Your Brain on Depression” and stuff about dealing with depression, anxiety, making your space your own, etc! (available til 2019-09-04)

The Beat Goes On – a bundle of music making & editing software that would normally cost nearly $750 separately being sold for $25 (and varying other, smaller costs depending on how much stuff you want!) with software like ElectroTrap, Sound Forge Pro 12, Acid Pro 8 and much more. if you’re interested in learning how to make music, especially electronically, this is an amazing resource!!! (available til 2019-09-04)

Python Programming – over a dozen how-to guides on how to learn how to program in Python, and what you can do with it, including a couple kid friendly guides (if you wanna gift these to a younger sibling/kid or, like me, are just a really stupid adult), more than a couple about how to make your own videogames (!!!!!) and two straight up about how to become a hacker. like, straight up. (available til 2019-09-02)

IT Security – a collection of over twenty (!!!!) books about computer and internet security, how to be more secure, which is crucial as computer and electronic security becomes more and more important every day!!! this shit is, altogether, worth nearly $2000 but you can pick it up for between $15 or less (with one of the tiers being literally only $1) (available til 2019-09-16 11:00:00)

Humble Bundle also does a monthly videogame collection for $12/month, where you get around eight (or more) fantastic Steam titles that altogether would usually cost somewhere around $100 or more. past games given in this subscription include Surviving Mars, Moonlighter, CoD Black Ops 4, Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, Monster Prom, Yakuza 0, Tom Clancy’s the Division, Megaman Legacy Collection, Metal Gear Solid V, Cities Skylines, Hollow Knight, Overwatch, Destiny 2, Yooka-Laylee and many many many more; it’s a sincerely amazing investment

if you buy them from any of these links it’ll support me, your local disabled lesbian, but you’ll also be able to support the authors/developers & charity – it gives you a nifty little slider so you can choose exactly where 100% of your money goes

they pride themselves on being super supportive of partners like me, super supportive of indie devs/books, and being as transparent as absolutely possible; they’re seriously a fantastic company & resource for Cool Deals

spread this around!!
